1950s

June 1955 Kyokuto Kaihatsu Kikai Kogyo Co., Ltd. was founded in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama with the capital of JP Yen 2,500,000. Started to manufacture and sale of special purpose vehicles.
April 1957 Headquarters and the Head Plant were relocated to Kamikoshien, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
October 1959 Nagoya Plant went into operation.

1960s

January 1961 Koshien Plant (Koshienguchi, Nishinomiya, Hyogo) went into operation.
March 1962 Yokohama Plant went into operation.
April 1962 Headquarters were relocated to Koshien Plant.
Head plant then existing was renamed as machine plant.
August 1964 Power Gate (loading labor saving equipment) was developed.
January 1965 Compact three-way dump truck was developed.
July 1965 Tokyo Office was opened in Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
May 1966 Technical cooperation was established with Inter Consultant Corporation, Sweden to develop a spherical, pneumatic bulk carriers for carrying powdered material and technical cooperation was established with Challenge Cook Brothers Corporation, US to develop Squeeze crete concrete pumps.
June 1966 The first model of the Squeeze crete rolled out.
February 1967 The first model of the pneumatic bulk carrier rolled out.
May 1967 Belt loader (baggage loader for aircraft) was developed.
April 1968 Tokyo Business office was relocated (to Toranomon Tokyo).
May 1968 Minicrete (mortar pump) was developed.
February 1969 A technical center was opened within the site of Headquarters.

1970s

March 1970 Technical cooperation was established with Tremache Corporation, United Kingdom to develop garbage pulverizer.
Tokyo Business Office (now Tokyo Head Office) was relocated to Hamamatsu-cho, Minato-ku, Tokyo and the business was expanded.
June 1970 Nagoya Plant was relocated to the current site.
September 1970 The first model of the Kyokuto-Tremache garbage pulverizer was delivered to customer.
Fukuoka Service center (now Fukuoka Plant) went into operation.
January 1971 No.2 Head Plant (previous Itami Plant) went into operation.
April 1971 The company was renamed Kyokuto Kaihatsu Kogyo, Co., Ltd.
August 1972 A garbage truck was developed.
April 1974 Kyokuto Service Engineering Co., Ltd. was founded.
November 1974 Began exporting to overseas countries manufacturing technologies for tank lorries, Garbage truck, concrete mixers, pneumatic bulk carrier, etc.
December 1974 A concrete blower was developed.
August 1979 Machine Plant was relocated to Miki Plant.
October 1979 Sagami Plant went into operation.
Servicing department was separated, and Kyokuto Auto Service Co., Ltd. was founded.

1980s

September 1980 Mini dump truck was developed.
March 1981 Concrete mixer was developed.
April 1981 Detachable body was developed.
April 1982 Garbage collector was developed.
April 1982 Aerial work platform was developed.
July 1982 Technical cooperation was established with Peabody Holms Corporation, United Kingdom, to develop high-speed compost process.
December 1982 Feed grain carrier was developed.
July 1983 Dump truck (as 10-ton truck) was developed.
October 1983 Concrete delivery machine was developed.
April 1984 Technical cooperation was established with Mr. Rudolf Rikker of West Germany to develop a piston-type concrete pump.
Cesspit cleaner truck was developed.
Pneumatic underground drill was released.
December 1984 A technical assistance agreement for the development of concrete mixers was signed with Shao Guan Digging Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., P. R. of China.
May 1985 New piston type concrete pump was developed.
June 1985 Garbage truck was developed and became the first special purpose vehicle to be selected as Good Design Product (G mark) by MITI in November.
July 1985 Waste fluorescent lamp pulverizer was developed.
December 1985 A technical assistance agreement for the manufacturing hoist mechanism for dump trucks was signed with Qing Dao Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd., P. R. of China.
February 1986 Loading labor saving equipment on the deck was developed.
January 1987 Detachable body was developed.
February 1987 F.E.E Co., Ltd. was founded.
June 1987 Rectangular aluminum tank trailer (18kl loading capacity) was developed.
Waste fluorescent lamp pulverizer was prized Chairman's Award of the Japan Society of Industrial Machinery Manufacturers.
April 1988 Waste plastics processor was developed and was prized Chairman's Award of the Japan Society of Industrial Machinery Manufacturers in June.
June 1988 Automation of can manufacturing line was started at each plant by introducing welding robots, etc.
March 1989 The first model of building waste storing and discharging system was delivered to customer.
A concrete pump truck with a 4-stage articulated boom was developed.
May 1989 Sliding Dump was developed.
June 1989 The industry's first large-scale electro-deposition painting facility was built in Yokohama Plant.
2-stage family parking equipment was developed, and it was selected as Good Design Product (G mark) by MITI in October.
October 1989 High airflow suction sweeper was developed.

1990s

February 1990 A technical assistance agreement for manufacturing concrete mixers was signed with K.M.T. Corporation, Thailand.
March 1990 RDF plant for production of Refuse Derived Fuel as recycled resource was delivered to Sapporo City.
October 1990 A digital radio controller for concrete pumps was developed.
February 1991 A multi-purpose workshop truck was developed to support the improvement of work by NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation).
May 1991 Dedicated production facilities for tailgate lifter and Car Pochette were additionally implemented in Head Plant site
June 1991 SO work platform was developed in cooperation with NTT.
Articulated 2-stage parking facility for offices and agglomerate houses was developed.
The machine shop in Miki Plant was expanded in scale. New and powerful machines were introduced to enhance the production capacity.
July 1991 Single car carrier was developed and was awarded Good Design Product (G mark) by MITI in October.
August 1991 A large-scale electro-deposition painting facility was newly built in Nagoya Plant.
November 1991 K. R. M. Co., Ltd. was founded.
January 1992 Vehicles distribution center was constructed in Yokohama Plant.
February 1992 Multistory parking facility was developed.
April 1992 A business training center "Festal Tokadai" was opened.
Wheelchair lifting equipment for bus was developed and awarded Good Design Product (G mark) by MITI in October.
Tank Checker or tank trailer inspection equipment was developed.
October 1992 A wireless remote control unit and An auxiliary step for bus were developed.
Colored bottle sorter was developed in cooperation with Tokyo Municipal Authority.

December 1992 Empty beverage cans recycling truck was developed. Cesspit cleaner robot was developed for automated sweeping jobs. (Awarded Good Design Product G-mark for 1992 by MITI)
January 1993 A super high-pressure concrete pump was developed.
A concrete pump truck with the longest boom as 10-ton truck was developed.
August 1993 Underground pit type multistory parking facility was developed.
September 1993 Distributorship agreement was signed with JLG Industries US for import, sale and service of mobile aerial work platforms.
Garbage container collecting system employing bin (made by Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd.) was engineered and released.
October 1993 Squeeze crete (concrete pump) models PH50-16 and PH40-16 were developed.
June 1994 Glass bottle color sorting system was prized Chairman's Award of the Japan Society of Industrial Machinery Manufacturers.
October 1994 Kyokuto Auto Service Co.Ltd. was merged by Kyokuto Kaihatsu.
January 1995 Office building was newly built in Yokohama Plant.
September 1995 The company was designated up-listing on the First Section of the Tokyo and Osaka Stock Exchanges.
December 1995 Office building was newly built in Miki Plant and the plant itself was expanded.

Keihinjima separated garbage treatment plant, having the largest scale recycle facility in Japan, was supplied to Tokyo Municipal Authority.
April 1997 Tokyo Service Center was newly founded.
June 1997 Acquired Kyokuto Service Engineering Co., Ltd. as a group company.
September 1997 Keihinjima nonflammable garbage treatment center was awarded the prize of Minister of Health and Welfare at the Wastech Grand Prix '97.
April 1998 Kyokuto Kaihatsu Tohoku Co., Ltd. was founded.
June 1998 Kyokuto Special Vehicle Sales Co., Ltd. was founded.
October 1998 Under-floor-accommodation type Power Gate was developed.
February 1999 ISO9001 was obtained. (Chubu district)
March 1999 Former Kyokuto Service Engineering Co., Ltd. was divided into 3 different companies that were newly founded under the names of Kyokuto Service Engineering Co., Ltd., Kyokuto Service Engineering Hokkaido Co., Ltd. and Kyokuto Service Engineering Chubu Co., Ltd.
July 1999 New low-bed dump truck series were completed.
October 1999 Sagami Plant was closed.

March 2000 Handy radio controller was released.

April 2022 The company was moved to listing on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
